Qualcomm Technologies announced a partnership with Microsoft at the 2022 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) to expand and accelerate the adoption of AR in consumer and enterprise markets.

Qualcomm is working with Microsoft on a number of projects to promote ecosystem development, including the development of customized AR chips to create a new generation of energy-efficient, lightweight AR glasses to provide a rich immersive experience, and plans to integrate software such as Microsoft Mesh applications and Snapdragon Spaces XR developer platform.

This partnership reflects Qualcomm's mature space computing technology expertise and technical leadership, as well as the company's vision of creating a transformative experience for the next generation of headset AR devices as the industry moves towards meta-universe.
